Fugue House

This 3 storey linked corner house is nestled in a gated community where the design challenge was to maintain the exterior facade but to enhance the interior to be modern minimalist as specified by a young couple, their 3 children and a dog with a love for water and the outdoors. Exploiting the corner of the house, Open living spaces with regular sliding door openings were made to bind the indoor-outdoor relationship.

The sides of the house with a swimming pool/garden and the rear with spaces for outdoor dining, bbq, bar and relaxation was enhanced through architectural definitions. The bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs were upgraded with new finishes. A music room was added at the top floor with an entertainment room. A bay window with lots of natural light was built on an existing balcony for added relaxation.
